Nudgee GC Mixed Foursomes

The mixed foursomes was on today at the Nudgee Golf Club. The day started with rainbows, and ended 9 hours later with blood, sweat and tears!!

Rocky Horror - A Transylvanian Experience coming to Nudgee Golf Club

The club will be hosting another interactive theatre night similar to the recent Faulty Towers Dining Experience, this show being the “Rocky Horror Tribute – A Transylvanian Experience” on Friday, 25 October 2013. Coffee at Nudgee Golf Club

Excellent coffee is available at the Nudgee Golf Club. Coffee and cake special also available for only $7.00. All are welcome!

Practise on the Golf Courses

Members and guests to our club are welcome to play on the course and hit 2 golf balls as long as it does not impede on the pace of play.

During the procedure for marking out tee marker positions for the upcoming weekend including our 2013 Mixed Foursomes Championship the below photograph shows a picture of multiple divots on the 9th tee North Course where it is obvious more then 2 golf balls were hit.

The most damaging part is, at this time of year, divots do not repair as fast and the divots are on the red tee marker plates which now means the ladies foursomes tee markers will need to be adjusted to increase or decrease the length of the hole as per the score card.  If a member or visitor is seen damaging the golf courses in this manner, please report them to the office or pro shop staff.

The Von Bronze Project

The project is increasing in curiosity and the "Von Bronze Project" committee are very pleased with the response from Nudgee Golf Club members.

Nudgee Men Members

Over the cooler months we have been running a competition on the South Course to cater for the increase in members participation on the North Course. 

The last Saturday competition on the South Course will be released today at 3:00pm.  There will be no South Course competitions on Saturday after the 27th July.  Thank you to all the members who participated in the South Course competitions and we trust this was a successful idea which we can call on again in the future.

Breast Cancer Research Day

$ 8350.00 - That's the amount raised from the Charity Day today. Congratulations ladies and all who donated to the event including our very thoughtful sponsors.

Breast Cancer Charity Day

87 Ladies teed off this morning in our Open Breast Cancer Charity Fundraising Day.  Lovely day at the course. Lunch will be served shortly followed by a fashion parade.  One staff member who wont be participating in the fashion parade but is extremely active in supporting all our events is our General Manager, Aaron Muirhead seen below with our Lady Committee members, Mrs Gayle Manning (Captain - far left), Mrs Robyn Yeo (Secretary), Ms Ros Russell (President - far right).

NAIDOC Day

2013 Club Match Play Championship

Black Tee Challenge Coming to Nudgee Golf Club

The Nudgee Golf Club is commencing a Black Tee Challenge that will be run on the 3rd Friday each month. The event is open to both men and ladies in which the best nett score will win a nights accommodation at the City Golf Club Motel in Toowoomba with 2 rounds of golf at the City Golf Club. The online sheet (for members) will be available 4 weeks prior to the event and visitors are welcome and can book on 3267 7744.

The question was asked "when are we getting an app for windows8", unfortunately the developer of our app has informed us the number of windows devices in use is not enough to warrant a new operating system.  If the club chooses to by recommendation of the developers to include windows, we will advice our members and guests as soon as possible.
