Ladies, Let' Golf! 2nd session this Saturday

The first FREE golf introduction session was held at the club this morning which proved to be very successful. The ladies that attended really enjoyed the simple tuition provided by our resident teaching Professional, Gary Warburton along with Program Officer from Golf Queensland and Golf Professional, Virginia Irwin. After the clinic, the ladies retired back to the club house for some nibbles and a cold drink. Thanks very much to the ladies that attended and you are welcome to join us again this Saturday.

The next FREE golf introduction session is scheduled for this Saturday, 2 November at the Nudgee Golf Club from 1.30pm to 2.30pm. All are welcome to attend and participate. The session is also open to Nudgee golf Club ladies that would like to bring a friend along. Contact Virginia on 3252 8155 to book in.

Coring and Sanding of our North Course Greens

Members and guests,

Please be advised our annual coring and sanding of the greens will commence on our North Golf Course only this Monday 28th October.  The North Golf Course will be closed on:

• Monday 28th October
• Tuesday 29th October
• Wednesday 30th October

Our South Golf Course greens have never been better, so please come down and enjoy the course before the greens are cored and sanded on Monday 25th November.

Rocky Horror Show & Dinner this Friday night

The Rocky Horror Experience is coming to Nudgee Golf club this Friday night, 25 Oct. Get ready to be thrilled with this frothy fun and naughty moments, this is the boldest bash of them all, so sharpen those stilettos for the rockiest ride of your life!

This is a fantastic show and is one to to be missed. Tickets are still available so come to the club to enjoy our hospitality and this astounding show. NGC Members $59, non member welcome $69! Includes a 3 course meal and show. Tickets available by calling 32677744!

Nudgee Club Championship 2013

Congratulations to Scott Edmiston, Club Champion for 2013 who shot a fantastic, 2 under par today. Scott had rounds of 73, 71, 72 & 69 to beat Steve Hunter by 1 shot. Well done Scott.

Glen Wolfenden, B Grade Champion with rounds of 82, 78, 83 & 80 to win by 7 from Dean Saxvik.
Regan Kelly, C Grade Champion with rounds of 85, 88, 85 & 93 to win by 3 from Brad Williams.
Fraser Woolley, D Grade Champion with rounds of 91, 95, 93 & 88 to win by 2 from Ron Chaplin.

Nudgee Golf Club Member Survey

Yesterday, a members survey was emailed out to the club database to obtain valuable feedback from the Nudgee Golf Club members. If you did not receive the email and would like to participate, please email Aaron on aaron.muirhead@nudgeegolf.com.au and I will send you a copy of the link to the survey.

Feedback from club members is vital for the operation and I would like to thank all the members that have already completed the survey to date. The feedback thus far has been excellent and once the survey is complete, I will compile a summary for members to view.

Ladies, Let's Golf! FREE Introductory Clinics.

Here at NGC, we are trialling free sessions for ladies/girls that have not experienced golf.Current lady members can join the clinics if they bring along a friend.

These Free introduction sessions to ladies and junior girls and will be held on:

•              29th October, Tuesday 10.00am -11.00am

•              2nd November, Saturday 1.30pm -2.30pm     

This is a FREE INTRODUCTION for new players who have not yet experienced the game and would like to give it a try in a supportive environment.
